you were taken from everyone so young. why you did it? no one can really explain or understand. maybe you and i never met or got super close, but know this. every time you talked to michael, every time you gave him advice, every time you stood up for him, every time you helped him, you helped me. you were his saving grace and frankly our saving grace. whatever went on in your relationship and marriage, im sorry it didnt work out, but know how loved you truly are. maybe theyre saying it was a permanent solution to a temporary problem, but frankly the demons in your life were bigger than anyone can or possibly will ever understand. you were an incredible person and will forever be in our hearts. theres so many uncertainties in this life, but what this has taught me is this: life is far too short to waste on things that wont matter tomorrow and words we might regret. tell your loved ones how much they mean to you and never go to sleep without making things right, even if it seems impossible. alex, you were our saving grace, rest in love.

i know that during this time of transition, things aren’t easy. we find ourselves frustrated and upset at times, but we never give up. i promise you i will stay strong and love you with all that i am. maybe you’re not where you’d thought you’d be, but that’s the fun in life, right?! near or far, i’m your girl.
